Tim Eliopoulos Bio
Tim Eliopoulos currently serves as the OTOA Region 2 Training Coordinator, supporting Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties. An OTOA staff member since 2018, Tim brings extensive operational experience and instructional expertise to the organization.
He is a Sergeant with the Lyndhurst Police Department, where he has served since 2012. Tim also holds leadership roles as a Team Leader with the SPAN SWAT Team (since 2014) and as a Task Force Officer with the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (since 2022).
In addition to his tactical and operational roles, Tim is a certified instructor in firearms, SWAT, and the Basic Police Academy. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran and former defense contractor, bringing a well-rounded background in both military and law enforcement operations.
