Teachers, superintendents, principals, administrators, support staff, and other school employees participating in approved OTOA events must first create and verify an individual OTOA user profile.
OTOA requires individuals attending our training programs, conferences, symposiums, and other approved events to have an individual user profile. This allows OTOA to identify and verify attendees before providing access to event registration.
This verification process is not limited to school personnel. OTOA also verifies the identities and professional affiliations of law enforcement officers and other public safety personnel who create user profiles.
For OTOA registration purposes, school employees who are not sworn law enforcement officers are considered civilian users.

Complete the requested information, including your name, email address, password, cell phone number, and other required profile information.
Begin typing the name of your school, school district, or organization and select the correct organization when it appears.
Upload a clear image of the front of your official school-issued employee identification card. OTOA staff will use this identification to verify your employment and user profile.

Review your information for accuracy and submit your profile. Your profile will then be sent to OTOA staff for verification.
You will be able to log in to your OTOA user dashboard and register for specific OTOA events that have been approved for civilian participation.
OTOA offers some programs and events that are specifically approved for civilian participation. These may include programs intended for teachers, school administrators, superintendents, principals, and other school personnel.
After OTOA staff approves your profile, eligible civilian registration options can be made available to you when you are logged in.
