I began my career with the Wayne Co Sheriff's Office in 1999 as a Reserve Deputy and commissioned full time since 2002. Promoted to Detective in 2017. 
During my time with Wayne County, I was the primary trainer for the office specializing in firearms, subject control, Taser, impact weapons and less lethal. 
I completed the OTOA's Basic SWAT curriculum in 2014 and have been a member since 2015. 
I laterally transferred to the Medina County Sheriff's Office in August of 2023 where I was assigned to the Common Pleas Court and patrol Sharon Township. 
I transferred back to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office on March 10, 2025. I am currently assigned as a SRO of Norwayne Schools. I am the Rangemaster and primary trainer for the office, consisting of firearms, subject control, ASP and OPOTA's new VR program. I received my OPOTA BAS December 2024.
