Leadership and Instructional Contributions
Since beginning his law enforcement career in 2005, Sean has been entrusted with a wide range of assignments that have continually honed his leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Most recently, as both Sergeant and SWAT Team Leader, he helped completely revamp his team’s selection process, establishing more rigorous physical fitness and shooting standards to ensure only the most qualified members remained. He also partnered closely with city leaders to secure advanced equipment, vehicles, and additional funding for the SWAT Team, elevating their operational capabilities. As a Task Force Detective, he collaborated with Federal, State, and Local agencies to investigate a wide range of felonies—homicide, narcotics, prostitution, and money laundering. These complex cases required him to network effectively, communicate clearly, and thrive in a dynamic team environment. Sean has been involved in hundreds of tactical operations as both an operator and a team leader. He currently serves as a patrol sergeant, a firearms and tactics instructor for both his agency and the SWAT Team, and the Assistant Commander for the Regional Emergency Response Team.
