General Manufacturing, based in Pittsburgh, PA, has been in business since 1958. Over the past 67 years, our company has grown with the times. As a prime contractor for the United States Defense Department, we manufacture many mission crilital items for the M249, M240, M2 and MK19. During the early 2000's, the production and assemble of the 61, 81 and 120mm Mortar Bipods served our war fighters in a region of the world where the capabilities of mortars was essential.

In 2013 we entered the civilian AR15 market. We were given the opprotunity to manufacture receivers for a well known company in the industry. Since then, we have grown our civilian base to nearly 60 companies whom we manufacturer not only their receivers, but other products of theirs which some being staples in the AR industry. 

In recent years, we have made the shift to offer a complete AR rifle to civilians along with a LE specific rifle. We've worked with the operators themselves to develop a rifle that is mission ready, reliable and affordable. We offer several variations to our LE rifles and a unique aspect is that we can customize the model and serial numbers to any officer or full department.
