Rich is a  Police Officer for the Philadelphia Police Department and is currently assigned to the Departments' SWAT Unit. In addition to being a SWAT "Operator" Rich also serves as a tactical paramedic, sniper, rescue specialist, hazardous materials technician/specialist and is a training coordinator/instructor within the unit. 

Rich has been in law enforcement since 2006, and EMS since 2001. Rich holds instructor certificates in several subjects including a Pennsylvania police instructor certification (MPOETC). Rich is still active in EMS and served as a command certified paramedic in Pennsylvania.  

He started his emergency services career in Philadelphia where he worked his way up from volunteer dispatcher, EMT and evential Paramedic at a 911 Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance service. 

Rich has an extensive knowlege/experiance in multiple critical incidents where he has acted dual role as paramedic and officer while working in an major eastc oast city.
