Deputy Nolan is a Detective with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department with more then 26 years of law enforcement service.  Detective Nolan has served in the Sheriff's Detective Bureau, Impact Unit and is most currently assigned to the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force since 2012.

Detective Nolan has been a Sheriff's Negotiator for over 16 years. He has experience with numerous crisis incidents,  serving in the capacity as a Sheriff's Deputy and as an US Marshals TFO.   Detective Nolan has worked with multiple SWAT Teams, both state and federal on such crisis incidents, including hostage, barricade, kidnap, mental health crisis, and suicide response situations.
