Currently employed at Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department as the Wellness Coordinator.

I began my career as a corrections officer in 1996. As my career continued, I got on several departments as an officer and quickly realized the amount of trauma we were all seeing, sometimes, on a daily basis.

I watched fellow officers struggle with incidents and began to feel the need to reach out and ask how they were doing. I knew suicide statistics were increasing in law enforcement, and I wanted to protect our officers from a tragic situation. 

From there, our wellness program as grown into what it is today. I am not perfect, but I have a passion to help other, and when I get the opportunity to share, I take full advantage.

I hope I have the opportunity to share with every attendee at the conference willing to listen and learn.
