Course Description

The 2-Gun Fighting Movement course focuses on the realistic and practical application of movement principles with both the Duty Handgun and Patrol Rifle. Drawing from real-world law enforcement lethal force encounters, the course tailors drills to reflect realistic movement patterns.

The curriculum emphasizes the importance of relevant and effective movement drills, with officers covering all seven primary movements. The goal is to improve the officer’s performance through behaviorally compliant movement, enhancing both effectiveness and safety in dynamic situations.

Using the Patrol Rifle, the course integrates these movement principles with cover and positional shooting, training officers to operate efficiently around cover. Simple drills will be introduced that officers can incorporate into their own dry fire, live fire, and Force-on-Force (FoF) training programs.
