Deron is a retired Sergeant from the Pennsylvania State Police. He retired in 2018 with 25 years of service. Deron was the Master CEW trainer for the State Police, as well as force on force, Firearms, Defensive Tactics and EVOC Instructor.  Deron was assigned to the State Police Academy prior to retirement assigned as the Use of Force Supervisor for the Agency. He was a member of the Mobile Filed Force and Extrication Team. Deron has extensive background in Reality Based Training, receiving his first Simunition Supervisor Instructor certification in 1999
