Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Review Class Options

• Review class options ahead of time and create a list of your top choices.
• Have 2nd choices ready in the event the class you wanted is sold out. 
• The website has been upgraded to a robust server to ensure smooth performance and prevent crashes during high-demand registration periods.
• No need to rush!  -TAKE YOUR TIME - Do it Right the 1st time

🚨Firearms Courses are RESTRICTED to SWORN LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY

All registrations are audited, and unauthorized persons will be removed from firearms courses.

Step 2: Gather Invoice Details - Once You Checkout, You Are Responsible

• Determine who handles invoices in your organization (e.g., department, agency, or organization).
• Have their name and email address ready.
• Starting in 2025, correcting invoice errors incurs a $25 fee—double-check your entries!

Step 3: Complete Registration

• When registration opens:
  • Log in and register all the way through checkout.
  • Check your email for confirmation that you are registered (check spam/junk folders, too).
  • No confirmation? Contact us immediately. No email = Not registered!
• Register only once: Duplicate registrations are deleted.

Step 4: Book Your Hotel 

• The OTOA preferred room block online registration link rate will be provided AFTER you complete the registration.
• Reserve your hotel early! Rooms fill up fast.
• Use the online link provided in your registration confirmation email.
• Important: Kalahari does NOT accept phone reservations for this event.

Step 5: Update Your User Profile

• Ensure your user profile is complete:
  • Cell phone number for text updates and opportunities to win free gear or prizes.
  • Date of birth for CPT credit (required!). Missing DOB = No credit.

Conference Perks

• Hospitality Nights: Free admission -  Monday and Tuesday (food included; guests and kids are welcome).
• Awards Banquet: One ticket is included; extra tickets can be purchased when you arrive and during the week.
• Meals Covered: Dinners on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Plan breakfast and lunch on your own.
