The Range Diagnostics course offers students a hands-on opportunity to work with direct impingement carbines intentionally set up to malfunction based on realistic issues commonly encountered in the AR platform.
Students are divided into groups and tasked with disassembling and diagnosing the provided weapons. To enroll, participants must have completed a reputable AR Armorer’s Course. After the groups analyze and attempt to identify the causes of the malfunctions, the instructor will guide them through a detailed explanation of the actual issues, whether due to wear, breakage, or other factors.
This course builds on the foundational skills learned in a basic Armorer’s Course, expanding the participants' knowledge base and preparing them to address real-world challenges in their armories. It is designed to better equip armorers for diagnosing and repairing issues they may encounter in their careers.
