Course Description

Ridgeline’s Scoped Carbine course has set the standard by which all others within the industry are judged. A cadre favorite to shoot and to teach, Scoped Carbine uniquely allows for a blend of basic rifle marksmanship, CQC -style shooting, individual movement techniques and Ridgeline’s “Gunfight Math” into a one-day course that leaves the student supremely confident in the abilities of themselves and their rifles.

Students will progressively be introduced to subjects such as ballistic theory, wind reading and alternate shooting positions. Students will engage targets while both stationary and on the move. Utilizing paper and steel target arrays shooters will be challenged to engage multiple targets from varying positions and at distances out to 500 yards while still performing fundamental tasks at a high level of competence.

FIREARM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 500Rounds of Match Grade Ammo
  • Special Purpose Rifle or Match Grade Carbine
    (Capable of 2 MOA or Better / .223 Minimum Caliber)
  • Rifle Scope with External Elevation and Windage Adjustments
    (8X Minimum / Mil Based Reticle Preferred)
    (Recommend equipped with off-set RDS)
  • Bipod (Harris BRM-S 9″-13″ or Similar)
  • 2 Point Sling
    (Recommend Ridgeline Hog Leash Sling)
  • (4) Magazines
    (Recommend (1) 20 Round and (3) 30 Round)
