What's your skilled response to a rapid, violent assault directed at you? Training to only retreat from a threat to grab a tool off your duty belt has had fatal outcomes for many police officers. Through hands-on, scenario-based training, officers will experience first-hand the various distances, reaction times, assault times, and human performance factors that impact how edged weapon and other assaults unfold. 

As a result, participants will gain enhanced assessment and decision making models, along with force options to improve their survivability of an edged weapon attack and other close-quarter violent encounters.

Must be physically fit/capable of participating in defensive tactics with a fair amount of rapid movement.

• Preferred duty belts, duty boots, and workout attire.
• If possible, training pistol.
• No live firearms or real knives.
