Shane Posey is a Retired Army Special Operations Veteran with nearly 2 decades of experience with multiple combat deployments, additionally he has 13 years of law enforcement experience.

He retired at Fort Bragg in 2024 as a John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center School Certified Instructor where he was the Team Sergeant in charge of the Tactics Division within the Advanced Skills Detachment. His main responsibilities was to instruct other Special Operations professionals in Advanced Marksmanship, Drones/Robotics, and the Special Operations Combatives Program(SOCP).

As a Senior SOCP Instructor Shane has instructed members of the FBI HRT, US MARSHALS SOG, HSI, Border Patrol, CAG, USASOC, MARSOC, AFSOC, and multiple Elite SWAT Units around the world. He continues to travel frequently to instruct this amazing program.

He spearheaded one of the largest Special Operations drone programs in existence. While doing so, he networked with multiple police agencies to assist in creating their programs. From CQB SWAT Operations, Surveillance, and Search and Rescue.

Shane has a myriad of additional certifications from Explosive/Ballistic breaching, Advanced CQB/Marksmanship courses, Special Operations Advanced Austere Medic, SWIFT Water Rescue, SAR Rappelling Techniques, Gracie Survival Tactics Instructor, Advanced Special Operations Surveillance Operator Course, multiple active shooter courses, and currently holds a Top Secret security clearance.

Shane was Awarded the Highest Commendation for Valor during his heroic efforts from his Police Department 

He has dedicated his entire adult life to the betterment of our nation and his local communities. By being a member of the RED Team Cadre, Shane can share his operational leadership experience in high stakes environments in hopes that it will promote a professional learning atmosphere to help keep officers and citizens safe.
