Ryan currently serves full-time as a K-9 handler for a suburb near Cleveland, Ohio, and is attached to a regional SWAT team. Ryan and his K-9 partner provide tactical K-9 support to his regional SWAT team, local agencies, State, County, and other regionalized tactical teams within the Cleveland area. Ryan specializes in high-threat close-quarters battles, criminal apprehension, tracking, narcotics detection, high-risk warrant service, barricade suspects, hostage rescue, and small unit tactics.
