Michael Dale Bio

I have over 20 years of law enforcement experience covering many aspects of the career field. Early in my career I performed uniformed security duties for the U.S. Department of State facilities and dignitaries. From there I moved into Policing with Prince William County Virginia Police Department.  Here I held positions as a Patrol Officer, FTO, Detective and Background Investigator. In 2009 I began working with the U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Firearms Training Unit. In 2015 I relocated to Montana where I am a Program Manager at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy.  I am the  manager of the basic Law Enforcement training program and the firearms range master. I am a subject matter expert in firearms and weapons training related to law enforcement operations. I’m a qualified instructor on a variety of different civilian and military weapons ranging from small caliber handguns through belt-fed weapon systems. I’m a certified instructor for handgun, RDS handgun, patrol rifle, shotgun, sub-gun and in areas such as BFFOC, CQB, Shoot house, force on force, UTM., Etc. I am a Montana P.O.S.T certified instructor and a factory certified armorer for Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson, Shadow Systems, Beretta, and FNH USA.
