Course Description

This course is designed for officers responsible for carrying a concealed weapon, though it may also benefit those authorized to carry a backup weapon on or off duty. Officers will engage in live fire drills, practicing target engagement from various positions, distances, and while wearing different types of attire.

The course focuses on pistols that can be easily concealed, so full-sized handguns are not permitted. Only compact and sub-compact handguns are required.

Upon completion, officers will have enhanced knowledge and skills in carrying, accessing, and utilizing a handgun from concealment.

Student Requirements

  • compact or sub-compact handgun
  • a sturdy concealment carry holster (apendix or hip) NO ANKLE or SHOULDER Holsters permitted
  • 3 magazines
  • mag pouch/retanment device used while off-duty
  • Clothing suitable for concealed carry 
  • Eye and ear protection 
  • Concealed badge holder
  • 300 rounds of pistol ammo
