Course Description

Red dot sights on pistols are becoming increasingly popular for both carry and duty weapons. However, many shooters are concerned about the training curve required to effectively use this technology. This course is designed to help participants overcome these challenges and maximize the potential of their red dot sights.

Topics Covered:

  • Zeroing Your Red Dot: Proper techniques for setting up your red dot sight
  • The Draw: How to avoid "fishing" for the dot during presentation
  • Red Dots at Close Range: Effective use of the red dot in close-quarters shooting
  • Red Dots at Distance: Techniques for engaging targets at longer ranges
  • Speed and Efficiency: Optimizing the draw and presentation for faster engagements
  • Dot Tracking: Maintaining sight picture and control while tracking the dot
  • Grip, Stance, and Predictability: How proper grip and stance affect dot movement and performance

By the end of the course, participants will have gained the skills and confidence to effectively integrate red dot sights into their shooting routine.
