This hands-on course equips law enforcement snipers and marksmen with the skills to maintain and inspect their rifles, ensuring they remain in top working order. The course focuses on bolt-action sniper rifle systems, including the Remington 700 series, Savage 10/110 series, and Winchester/FN 70 series rifles.

• Action disassembly and repair
• Proper torqueing of actions
• Extraction and ejection systems
• Maintenance and care of rifles
• Truing and lapping scope rings to optimize rifle and optic performance
• Inspection of pillar and bedding
• Additional techniques to enhance reliability and accuracy

Students will have the opportunity to inspect their own rifles during the course and make necessary corrections under instructor guidance. This program adheres to manufacturer guidelines and is taught by FBI- and NRA-certified instructors.

Eligibility:
This class is open exclusively to law enforcement officers (LEOs) from the United States, and focuses on the maintenance, care, and repair of these weapon systems.

Students need to supply their own rifles and cleaning equipment to give it a thorough cleaning, inspection, and gauging for wear. The student may bring more than one rifle. (All tools will be supplied).
