This class will expand on the basic fundamentals of the patrol rifle and duty pistol.  Officers will gain a more realistic understanding of the capabilities of the weapon systems in addition to learning and practicing skills which are often overlooked in LE training programs.  Examples include atypical firing positions, shooting a extended distances, transitions and barricades etc.  The students will also observe the benefits and shortcomings of various types of equipment.
