Course Description

This course was created by the late Jack Vickery, a Firearms Instructor and Assistant Team Leader for the Cleveland FBI SWAT.

Most law enforcement officers and SWAT team members have limited time and resources to train, therefore making it more critical that this time be used efficiently and methodically. This course focuses on skill development by using principle-based techniques, exploratory learning, and practical shooting drills. You will discover how to implement hit factor scoring in training to emphasize speed and accuracy and push shooters outside of their comfort zone. You will learn to create and utilize diagnostics to identify weaknesses, train skills in isolation, and eventually add layers of complexity.

This course will not only improve your personal firearms skills but will assist you in creating training plans for your home agency that systematically develop well-rounded shooters who can perform on demand.
