Retired after a 33 year career in law enforcement with over 31 years of service with the Columbus Divsion of Police. Served over 18 years in Patrol and other operational assignements, including street crime enforcement teams. Served as the SWAT Team Commander for the last nine years, standardizing the training program for all officers, sergeants and lieutenants and completely updated the Standard Operating Procedures manual. Developed the OTOA Tactical Team Leader Course and Critical Incident Leadership for Patrol Operations Course. Have also served as a consultant in the review of police uses of deadly force.
