James Seese Bio

Jay Seese is a five-year veteran of the U.S. Army and spent 20 years within the Law Enforcement Community. In 1988, he graduated from the Military Police Academy, deploying to combat with the Military Police Quick Reaction Force (QRF) for "Operation Just Cause" in Panama and Operations "Desert Shield" and "Desert Storm". Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1992, Jay completed the Colorado Department of Corrections Academy, Federal Law Enforcement Academy, Colorado Regional Law Enforcement Academy, and the Washington State Law Enforcement Academy.

He completed his SWAT school team certification in the State of Colorado and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation Course, and the Washington State SWAT Course. Jay has attended several Basic and Advanced Undercover Operations Schools, emphasizing surveillance and counter-surveillance operations. Jay spent 14 of his 20 years in law enforcement in undercover/plainclothes operations and investigations, working for local, state, and federal task force groups that included operations within the DEA, ATF, and other DOJ agencies.

Jay is a subject matter expert in Human Terrain Mapping & Behavior Pattern Recognition and worked extensively within the US Marine Corps' highly successful Combat Hunter Program of Instruction (POI) and the U.S. Joint Forces Command's highly successful Border Hunter Program. Jay is a certified subject matter expert in Combat Profiling, HBPR&A (Human Behavior Pattern Recognition & Analysis), ASAT (Advanced Situational Awareness Training), SOFSAT (Special Operational Forces Advanced Situational Awareness Training), and IT-SAT (Insider-Threat Situational Awareness Training) through ORBIS Operations.

Jay has conducted training in Saudi Arabia and Colombia with military and law enforcement. Jay also served as a team leader in Afghanistan training Coalition and U.S. Forces theater-wide from 2012 through 2013. Jay has been a Senior Instructor for eight years with an "unnamed" program to conduct covert-urban operations, surveillance-counter surveillance techniques for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and Naval Special Warfare. Jay is certified in ISPS code as a Vessel-Ship, Company, and Port Facility Security Officer for Maritime Security. He holds an Active Secret Security Clearance and has a full professional Spanish proficiency level. Jay attended Colorado Mountain College and earned his associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak Community College in 1999 and currently serves as an adjunct at UDLAP: Jenkins Graduate School.
