Troops,
The holiday season has come upon us
and I have seen an increase in the barricaded subject calls and
the threat of active shooter incidents still is prevalent.
Preparing the first responders and having the guts and gear to do
the job is what sets us apart from the herd. Changes are coming
that will effect all of us in the tactical community. Some of
changes will not be the most popular but I have a feeling they
will be what we as a whole know are the right moves for SWAT. If
we are going to remain the life saving resource and leaders within
our brotherhood, the right decision is sometimes not the most
popular.
Maintain the mission and prepare
for the moment when all you have is what you brought to the fight
that day. Failure is not an option.
